Course Update

Wednesday – Course Status Amber, please carry if able to. Daily setup tasks completed this morning along with more posts & rope to protect in advance areas around the Course. Various detail work completed, Member Buggy Maintenance & Bunker Construction continues on the 15th.

Tuesday – Course Status Red, please carry if able & we will love you long time 😘 Greens trimmed with a spray behind in the last window for an application. Tee’s trimmed along with fresh pin position’s, Course Blowing & Bunker construction on 15th Continues.

Monday – Course Status “All Carry” with a 10th Tee Start. Greens getting an old school but cool school form of Aeration after 4 inches of rain in 8 days 😵‍💫 Cheeky roll behind with Approaches cut + fed. Forward Tee’s getting the edges tidied up & 15th G’side started.

Sunday – Course Status “All Carry”, 10th Tee Start with all Bunkers GUR. Greens dew & water removal in places along with daily task & Practice Ground Ball Collection. Hopefully a break in the weather after today to get back onto some surfaces soon. Over 2 inches in 4 days of Nov.

Saturday – Course Status Blue “All Carry” with a 10th Tee Start. All Bunkers GUR. Course Setup on this dark and damp morning with Practice Ground Ball Collection.

A cracking day to help improve conditions around the Course today. Greens, Tee’s, Fairway’s and all surfaces are behaving well considering they have had 82.5mm of rainfall on them in the last 6 days. The Team have been busy getting the Course to a position to open tomorrow 😬

Friday – Course Remains Closed. Team still busy regardless of Course Status looking after & constantly improving the Estate. Last 2 Forward Tee tops Turfed, Fairway Divoting, Drainage outlets cleaned & the lovely posts + rope Traffic Management being put out that everyone loves 🤣

Thursday – Course Closed, with nearly double the forecasted rain predicted, the big man upstairs has won today… Next update Friday @ 7am. Clubhouse open as normal for food & drink. Worry not… the Team dont get a day off out on the Course, they will be busy grafting away!

Wednesday – Course Status Red, 10th Tee Start & please carry if able. Fresh pins, Overflow Car Park extension works continues, Coring + Collection of Collar dams/weak areas, Long Rough Flailing & Cut & Collect ongoing. Wet gear today those whacking them balls around.

Thursday – Course Status Amber with Greens getting a much need roll, New pin positions, Ditches getting a strim, Long rough getting Cut and Collected as well as Flailing and the New Tees getting a final touch and sprinklers getting programed in to the computer boom
