Windlesham Winter Open Series 2024-25
Join Us for an Exciting Winter Golf Challenge!
Windlesham Golf Club is thrilled to announce the launch of the Winter Open Series sponsored by Titleist & Footjoy! From October 2024 to March 2025, we invite golfers to participate in this thrilling competition series held exclusively on Wednesdays and Fridays. Thanks to extensive drainage improvements over the past 5 years, Windlesham has become a top choice for winter golf. With the course closed for only 3 days last winter, it offers exceptional playability even in wet conditions.
How Does It Work
Register for the Windlesham Winter Open Series via GolfGenius.
Book a tee time with your playing partners as you normally would. Visitors are welcome to play Windlesham every Wednesday and Friday between 11am and 1pm.
Visit the Golf Shop and inform them you're playing a Winter Open Series round. The cost for 18-holes is £80 and includes a FREE bucket of balls for the range and welcome pack. Re-book your next round on the day for the reduced price of £60 for 18-holes! (full payment required at time of booking). 5th round goes FREE!
Play as many times as you like from 1st October through to 31st March, with your best net Stableford score counting towards the monthly prizes and Championship Day qualification in April 2025.
The Prizes
There will be monthly prizes for the best net Stableford score sponsored by Titleist and FootJoy.
The top 20 players from the 6-month series will qualify for the Championship Day on Friday 25th April 2025. This FREE final will include tea/coffee & bacon roll on arrival, 18-holes of competition play and a one-course meal.
The combined best scores from the Series and Championship Day will win some great prizes, with other fun competitions also taking place on the day.
The Details
Eligibility: Open to all genders. Participants must be 18 years or over.
Scoring: Individual Stableford scoring. All rounds will be qualified for handicap purposes.
Handicap Requirements: Participants must have an official WHS Handicap and provide their WHS number. iGolf members are eligible to play. Playing handicap will be 95% of your Course Handicap.
Entry: You may enter as many rounds as you like, but only your best round will count towards the monthly prize and Championship Day qualification.
Marker: A marker with an official WHS Handicap is required for each round.
Important:
- GGID codes for online scoring will be provided on the day of play.
- Participants must have the Golf Genius App downloaded for scoring.
- WGC has the right to refuse or retract entries into the series in circumstances such as Rules of Golf infringements or falsification of handicap.

- Buggy and Trolley Policy: please ensure all electric trolleys have winter wheels. Electric trolleys without winter wheels attached will be refused entry onto the golf course - click here.
